Designers and illustrators were invited to submit their visual interpretation of the theme of Democracy which were featured on the website, voted on and the submissions with the most votes being part of an exhibition held as part of Design Event and also in a Create Democracy book. For my submission a simple layout was used to highlight how a quote from George Orwell has never been more relevant than today and for us to question how transparent and democratic our society is.
